There is a full schedule of Holiday events at the Church of St Paul the Apostle located at 60th Street and Columbus Avenue on the evening of Winter’s Eve. See the entire lineup of events below:

6:00pm: Doors Open
Cookies and hot beverages available throughout the Open House.

6:00pm-6:15pm and 6:45pm-7:15pm: The Melita Chamber Ensemble
On Winter’s Eve The Melita Ensemble features 2 of its members Mitchell Lyon (cello, pictured above L) and Jocelyn Zhu (violin, pictured above R). Both graduates of the Juilliard School, these young upcoming musicians bring the highest quality music to the sacred space at St Paul’s. Tonight they will be playing instrumental holiday selections and classical favorites.

6:15pm-6:45pm: The Little Drummer Boy
This classic movie tells the story of a poor young boy who is summoned by the Magi to the nativity where, without a gift for the infant Jesus, he plays his drums while remembering “I played the best for Him” and “He smiled at me”.

7:00pm: St. Nicholas Arrives
Children of all ages are invited to visit with St. Nicholas.

IMG_37477:15pm-8:00pm: Sacred Sounds at St. Paul
The Sacred Sounds of St. Paul concert series features students of the Juilliard Organ Department performing on the St Paul Organ. Tonight, Daniel Ficari (pictured R) will perform a recital of organ music based upon popular hymn tunes.

8:00pm-8:20pm: St. Paul Cantors
St. Paul Cantos Jonathan Morales and David Summers will sing their Christmas favorites.

8:20pm-8:40pm: Sounds of Brass
Students from the Manhattan School of Music will perform holiday favorites.

8:40pm-9:00pm: Sing a long
Join us as we sing our favorite Christmas carols. The sing a long is led by Cantors Jonathan Morales and David Summers and accompanied on Organ by Daniel Ficari and Brass from the Manhattan School of Music.
