danceWE14Winter’s Eve at Lincoln Square’s Multicultural Dance Groups are presented in partnership with Dance Parade and made possible by funding from the New York City Council.

NYC Bhangra: Established in 2007 to promote Indian dance in New York City, NYC Bhangra aims to promote a wider knowledge of Indian culture and Bhangra, a traditional Punjabi folk-dancing style, through dance education and engagement with traditional classroom-based instruction and community performances.

Fusha Dance Company: New York City based Fusha Dance Company is dedicated to celebrating the abundant richness of dance and culture from Africa and the Diaspora (Congo, West Africa, South America, the Caribbean and Urban dances like hip-hop). Under the artistic direction of Funmilayo Chesney the goal of FDC is to enrich lives, improve confidence, empower participants through dance, drama, music, visual arts and nutrition programs.

Neville Dance Theatre: Founded in 2005 by Brenda R. Neville, Neville Dance Theatre has been hailed as compelling, imaginative and a pure delight by both critics and reviewers. The dance group excels in brining diverse dance elements, such as Hip hop, Flamenco and Argentine Tango, to contemporary and classical ballet in theatrical innovative works that explore our shared word and the vastness of the human spirit.

Location: Frey Plaza: Trump International Hotel and Tower – E. Broadway between 60th and 61st Street.
Time: 6:00pm alternating every 20 minutes
