Danza Fiesta: Baile y Teatro Puertorriqueño was created in 1998 by Hilda Rivera-Pantojas in NYC, with the mission of sharing Puerto Rican culture with the rest of the world. Danza Fiesta’s repertoire portrays Puerto Rican folklore and popular dances as a medium to educate, preserve and promote the traditions from Puerto Rico. Since inception, the company has built and preserved a local audience through community and educational outreach and through collaborations with other arts and cultural organizations, public schools, and higher education institutions.


Navatman,Inc. is a combination of the visions of Sridhar Shanmugam and Sahasra Sambamoorthi with an eye on creating a sustainable home for the South Asian arts in New York City and its surrounding neighborhoods, particularly emphasizing Indian classical music and dance. We are a team of talented individuals dedicated to creating ground-breaking work in the South Asian classical performing arts in the areas of education, performance, and production. We are best known for our Manhattan-based classes, critically acclaimed productions, dynamic dance company, and stellar carnatic choir, all of which have received reviews in mainstream press including the New York Times, India Abroad, The Hindu, the Financial Times, and The Star-Ledger, to name a few. Navatman continues to see success in their goal to preserve Indian classical music and dance through democratizing these art forms by increasing their accessibility, and innovating on pre-existing business and organizational models to stay relevant, fresh and exciting.

The O’Leary Irish Dance Troupe is a professional Irish Dance Company who perform at corporate events, weddings, parties, festivals, concerts and showcases mostly in the New York area. They completed a hugely successful tour of Japan with Irish folk band ‘The Suffering Gaels’ in 2001, performing 26 shows in large venues such as Osaka Festival Hall. They have also performed with Afro-Irish band ‘De Jimbe’ at the Rhinebeck Center for Performing Arts and Pier 63, New York City. The Troupe has appeared in concert at The Union Square ‘Summer in the Square’ concert series in Manhattan every summer since 2001. They have also headlined The Rockland ‘Worldfest’ International Dance Festival and been featured regularly in the annual New York City Irish Dance Festival. In December 2001 and March 2002 the troupe toured America with ‘The Three Irish Tenors’. The Niall O’Leary Irish Dance Troupe has also performed at the Gala St. Patrick’s Day Ball in The Plaza Hotel in New York, the American-Ireland Fund dinner, AIB Corporate entertainment, Eileen Ivers Show, Pfizer Pharmaceutical’s Corporate Show, Prudential Corporate Show and ‘Shadfest’ on the River Hudson.

Fraternidad Folklorica Caporales Universitarios San Simón Filial New York is one of the most recognized Bolivian non profit groups in the metropolitan area. With 16 years as an official affiliate of the same name in Cochabamba, Bolivia; they share the cultured folklore of Bolivia through dance – Caporal’s.  Annual activities are very diverse with participation in the Bolivian Parades of New York and New Jersey, the Dance Parade of New York, the Halloween Parade in the Village as well as all of the Hispanic Parades in the tristate area. And, travel to Bolivia twice a year to dance for the Virgen Mary of Socavon and The Virgin Mary of Urkupiña.

Winter’s Eve at Lincoln Square’s Multicultural Dance Troupes are presented in partnership with Dance Parade and made possible, in part, with support from the New York City Council.
