When the kids are taking a break from rocking out with Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could there are tons of fun activities for the whole family at Kids’ Central at Raymour & Flanigan.
Kids can handle objects from the American Folk Art Museum‘s Touch Collection, and receive materials to create their own quilt inspired, two dimensional artwork, focusing on shape, pattern, and color. Museum staff will also be on hand to answer questions about special family events and new exhibitions.
Lowe’s Home Improvement will have a Build and Grow station set up complete with kid-sized tools, where kids, with parental supervision, can build fun objects.
Join The New Victory Theater and make a colorful craft to celebrate the arrival of upcoming circus spectacular, Mother Africa: My Home, playing December 2nd through January 1st at The New Victory Theater. Call 646-223-3010 or visit NewVictory.org for tickets, schedules and more!
The West Side Y and New York Family will also be at Kids’ Central with their own tables full of engaging crafts for kids.
Plus, there will be sweet treats from Magnolia Bakery.
And, over on the second floor of Time Warner Center, children can make warm winter greeting cards for the elderly with DOROT.
